SafeGard CC-3400 to meet Europe's RoHS Directive for the elimination of chromate. Another major telecommunications company is getting a clear color is using SafeGard CC-3400 with SafeGard CC-3400seal#2 for corrosion control and electrical conductivity on their aluminum parts. California has already passed legislation to fall approximately in line with the EU RoHS timescales.
This breakthrough surface finishing technology has also been tested by Boeing in St Louis. Missouri. They also agree that it passes both the corrosion protection and electrical conductivity requirements for Mil-C-5541.
NO-OX-ID
NO-OX-ID ... THE ORIGINAL RUST PREVENTIVE. This anti corrosion coating requires minimal surface preparation and is the long-term solution for lubrication and corrosion control. NO-OX-ID A-Special is used as an anti condensation coating on structural steel, in acid pickling areas, brine tanks, inside water tanks, steel cables, bridges and cofferdams. Use this cosmoline type corrosion resistant coating whenever the use of heavy duty rust preventives and anti condensation coatings are required.
NO-OX-ID "A-SPECIAL" is the electrical contact grease of choice in new electrical installations and maintenance because of its excellent performance in keeping metals free from corrosion. This conductive grease has been used for over 50 years to prevent corrosion in electrical connectors from low micro-power electronics to high voltage switchgear. The formation of oxides, sulfides and other corrosion deposits on copper surfaces and conductors can be prevented with its use. This product is used as a battery terminal grease because it is not effected by battery acid.
NO-OX-ID "A-SPECIAL ELECTRICAL" is an USDA approved electrical grease compound and rust preventive that prevents corrosion and lubricates electrical connections. Other NO-OX-ID electrical grease and conductive lubricants include NO-OX-ID A-Special 200 and NO-OX-ID E. NO-OX-ID trademark 1918.

This cosmoline type anti corrosion coating is approved under NSF Standard 61 for use as both an internal coating for the interior of potable drinking water tanks and approved lubricants NSF for water treatment facilities. When coating an elevated water tower with NO-OX-ID, the surface does not require a SSP#10 white sandblast before application, only the use of power brushes. These approved NSF lubricants are used on valves, baffles, flocculators, radial gates and screens.
This cosmoline type product has a unique rust inhibitor system that will give you superior corrosion control. Application is generally done by brush, rollar or airless spray equipment.
SafeGard
SafeGard’s is a breakthrough water based rust preventive that is non-flammable, non-toxic and provide an excellent barrier to the corrosive effects of humidity and salt spray. There are many different surface finishing consistencies and colors of SafeGard available. SafeGard coatings range from soft and easy to remove to firm and hard to remove that is like a waterbased cosmoline. SafeGard contains noalox products and can be applied by brush, dip or spray. At the end of the day the equipment is cleaned up with soap and water. General Motors, Ford and Chrysler use these products for export shipping. SafeGard Peelcoat is a water based rust preventive that after drying leaves a coating that can peeled off when you are ready to use the part.
